Viewing Your Usage

  1. Go to Usage in the sidebar
  2. See your current usage:
    • Messages used this period
    • Messages remaining
    • Storage used
    • Agents created

Usage Breakdown

The usage page shows:
  • Current period usage vs limit
  • Historical usage trends
  • Per-agent breakdown
  • Days remaining in billing cycle

Managing Your Subscription

Upgrade Your Plan

  1. Go to UsageManage Plan
  2. Select a higher plan
  3. Click Upgrade
  4. Complete payment in Stripe
Upgrades take effect immediately. You’ll be prorated for the remainder of your billing period.

Downgrade Your Plan

  1. Go to UsageManage Plan
  2. Select a lower plan
  3. Click Downgrade
  4. Confirm the change
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Make sure you’re within the new plan’s limits before it starts.

Cancel Subscription

  1. Go to UsageManage Billing
  2. Opens Stripe customer portal
  3. Click Cancel subscription
  4. Confirm cancellation
You retain access until the end of your paid period.

Billing Portal

Access the Stripe billing portal to:
  • Update payment method
  • View invoices
  • Download receipts
  • Manage subscription
  • Update billing address
Click Manage Billing on the Usage page.

Payment Methods

We accept:
  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • PayPal (select regions)
  • Bank transfers (Enterprise only)

Updating Payment Method

  1. Go to UsageManage Billing
  2. Click Payment methods
  3. Add new payment method
  4. Set as default
  5. Remove old method if desired

Invoices & Receipts

View Invoices

  1. Go to UsageManage Billing
  2. Click Billing history
  3. View all past invoices

Download Receipts

Each invoice includes:
  • Date and amount
  • Plan details
  • Payment method used
  • Download link (PDF)

Message Limits

How Messages Are Counted

Each message from a user or the agent counts toward your limit:
  • User message = 1 message
  • Agent response = 1 message
  • Form displayed = 0 messages (forms don’t count)

What Happens at Limit

When you reach your message limit:
  1. Agents stop responding to new messages
  2. Existing conversations are preserved
  3. You can still access the dashboard
  4. Upgrade or wait for reset
Set up usage alerts to get notified before hitting limits.

Limit Reset

Message limits reset at the start of each billing period:
  • Monthly plans: Reset on billing anniversary
  • Unused messages don’t roll over

Storage Limits

What Counts as Storage

  • Knowledge base documents
  • Uploaded files
  • Cached embeddings

Checking Storage

  1. Go to Usage
  2. View Storage section
  3. See per-agent breakdown

Managing Storage

To free up space:
  1. Remove unused documents from knowledge bases
  2. Delete old agents you no longer need
  3. Clean up test content

Can I try before I buy?

Yes! The free plan gives you 100 messages/month with 1 agent. No credit card required.

What happens if I go over my limit?

Your agent stops responding to new messages until your billing period resets or you upgrade.

Do unused messages roll over?

No, message limits reset at the start of each billing period. Unused messages don’t carry over.

Can I switch plans anytime?

Yes. Upgrades are immediate (prorated). Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period.

Do you offer annual billing?

Yes, annual billing is available with a discount. Select “Annual” on the pricing page.

Can I get a refund?

We offer refunds within 14 days of purchase for annual plans. Monthly plans are non-refundable but can be cancelled anytime.

How do I update my billing email?

  1. Go to UsageManage Billing
  2. Update your billing information
  3. Save changes

Troubleshooting

Payment Failed

Check:
  • Card hasn’t expired
  • Sufficient funds available
  • Card allows international transactions
  • Billing address matches card
Solution: Update payment method in billing portal.

Wrong Plan Active

If your plan doesn’t match what you expected:
  1. Check for pending changes (downgrades apply at period end)
  2. Verify payment completed
  3. Check for failed payment emails
  4. Contact support

Missing Invoice

  1. Check spam folder
  2. Verify billing email is correct
  3. Download from billing portal
